A juxtaposing thought-provoking installation, placing a formation of house plants potted, labelled and price tagged, projected onto with a video, overlaying price tags hitting the house plant leaves. Capitialocene explores capitalism over plants, similar to the enlightenment period why do we believe by scientifically labelling and capturing these natural florae we know them better? why do we bring these live being into our homes? pay for them, entrap them when they are naturally outdoors, for our own self-enjoyment the piece invites the viewer to ask these questions.
